What can you do?
As a citizen of the USA, there's a lot you can do to show the government that you are not happy with their actions.
Contact your local congressman or congresswoman
Do your best to talk to your congressperson about things you find important, they are public servants after all. It doesn't matter if you choose to contact them through mail, or in person, just do all you can to show your unhappiness.
Be willing to talk to those of different ideologies
People are living in social bubbles now and it is your responsibility to get out of yours. Talk to people you disagree with. Listen to them. Talk to them. Treat each other like human beings and you will be able to reach some common ground. Shoving ideologies in their mouth won't help, treating them like people will.
Protest!
Even though your government doesn't like that fact, you do have the right to protest at any time you wish! Find fellow likeminded people near you, organize, go out there and remember, you're not just fighting for your rights, you're fighting for the rights of all people.
